But then I saw the captions: \u201cGrateful for this beautiful family getaway.\u201d \u201cThree generations of love.\u201d Her parents were tagged. I wasn\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p>I felt invisible. Like I\u2019d been tolerated, not included.<\/p>\n<p>So I did something I\u2019d never done before\u2014I posted my own photos. The unedited ones. The ones with me holding the baby, playing cards with the kids, setting the table. I captioned it: \u201cGrateful for the moments that didn\u2019t make the cut.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It wasn\u2019t loud.
