Donald Trump is facing backlash once again—this time for comments he made about Karoline Leavitt.
In recent weeks, the president has drawn criticism for a series of disparaging remarks directed at women. Just last month, he made headlines after calling Bloomberg reporter Catherine Lucey “piggy” during a tense exchange. Only weeks later, he referred to another female journalist as “nasty” and “stupid.”
Now, Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, has become the latest target—this time over comments about her appearance. Although Trump’s remarks were framed as compliments, many believe they were still inappropriate and unnecessary.
While speaking to supporters in Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday (December 9), Trump pointed out that his 28-year-old press secretary was present, prompting further criticism about the nature of his comments.
“We even brought our superstar today, Karoline,” he told the crowd, adding: “Isn’t Karoline great?”

According to The Sun, Trump continued, “You know, when she goes on television, Fox, like I mean, they dominate, they dominate when she gets up there with that beautiful face and those lips that don’t stop-op-op-op, like a little machine gun.”
He proceeded to link her on-air confidence with the fact that the Trump administration ‘have the right policy’.
